Works great.
I would have bought the wifi model but the TV I bought it for only has RCA jacks. It's well worth it to be able to stream cartoons in the spare room for the kids by day and tv shows for the old ladies by night. YOU DO NEED A CREDIT CARD TO OPEN A ROKU ACCOUNT.

Expanded my viewing options
I didn't know there was that much (free) stuff out there to watch. I thought I had pretty much reached my limit with expanded cable - boy was I wrong - and - as a devoted fan of old time radio programs I was very pleased to find them through ROKU - I got it set up pretty easy and, so far, really like it.

died after 2 months
Player worked ok for 2 months with occasional buffering issues. I have over 100mbps and the wireless router is 4 feet away so that should not have been an issue. It died completely after only 2 months use.

No problem installing
Hooked it up in no time. No cc needed for the free channels. Amazon wants one for there records but will not charge you for the free stuff.
