ASUS TF600 10.1" 32GB Windows 8 RT Tablet

The ASUS TF600T tablet is fast, versatile, and easy to use. A person familiar with Windows 8 will find the RT environment second nature. It functions similar to tablets from the Android and Apple Worlds, but its browsing seems a bit more efficient. I love the Office applications and the ability to view and edit MS Office documents. My only gripe is that the tablet does not use a micro SD card. It does, however, read and write to flash drives quickly and efficiently. This is my third ASUS tablet and it performs beautifully. I love the detachable keyboard and the long battery life. It is as durable, and it has the same high quality as its sister Android tablets. I highly recommend this tablet for Windows-loyal consumers who want a small, portable, notebook-like device for business productivity purposes.

Wonderful design

The learning curve is rather steep but if you take the time to look on the app store there are many ways to learn how to efficiently use this tablet. I'm an undergraduate and currently use the tablet pretty much as a laptop, thanks to the HDMI output.

this is a good tablet that could work except the addition of win8, i should have paid more attention when purchasing it. the i would have seen the operation system. my fault do not make my mistake.

ASUS TF600 10.1" 32GB Windows 8 RT Tablet

We bought this for my wife - she likes her WinPhone, so this seemed natural. Now I'm so impressed, I'm tempted to give up Android for it. Great hardware! This is slim and much lighter than most 10in tablets, and feels very nice in the hand. The screen is very sharp, and the tablet is responsive. WinRT is what surprised me most - it's beautiful (and snappy!) on a Tegra 3 touch screen tablet like the Vivo RT. Using Windows 8 on my desktop, I had no love for RT. But now that I see it in its element - on a touch screen tablet - I'm a big fan. It is much more aesthetically pleasing than Android or iOS, and very capable. The addition of Office apps on the desktop is a great bonus. One downside to WinRT tablets (and hopefully temporary): apps are very limited. MS promises more rapidly, but now it's hard to find some of the important ones you find in the other tablet OS's. But there are some gems, and my wife seems very pleased to have all the apps she needs

I purchased this tablet because I had the original Asus Transformer which I loved, but it had become dated. I decided to roll the dice on this tablet because I love Windows 8, and I will say that I am impressed with the tablet. Even though it has fewer apps than the Android tablet did, I use it much more for everyday activities. It has helped me become less reliant on my desktop because it does just about everything I use my computer to do (besides a few games every now and again). It really has freed me a little bit because now I don't have to work at my desktop. The build quality is what I expected of an Asus product - wonderful. Please not that there is only one USB drive and no standard SD card reader on this device. If you are considering purchasing this product, I don't think you will be disappointed.
