Very Happy
My laptop died and I had info I wanted to retrieve off of the hard drive. I bought this enclosure, put my hard drive in it, and I was able to access my data. I was very happy! It's compact, even comes with its own case.

simply won't work
Despite all of the good reviews, I cannot get this enclosure to read anything. It's likely just a rare defect.

Great external SATA drive container
I wanted an external drive bay to have a mirror image of my laptop drive but setup to do a specific task, like play with my kids and other testing type setup. I didn't want to USB even though it worked, I like as much speed as possible so I wanted it to support SATA. I tried the bulky black widow setup and while it worked, I had a lot of parts to carry around with me. So I went searching for something easier. This fit the bill. Put some velcro on it and the back of you monitor (assuming it's a laptop) and you can go to town.

As described
No complaints. Nice, simple HD enclosure. Comes with extra screws in case some are lost (the screws are really small). I'm very satisfied with this product.
