WD - A GOLD STANDARD External HDD
There are two Drive makers that I have purchased over the years. Can't mention the other but you can sea for yourself. These are both Gold Standards. The pricing on this HDD is beyond a 'bargain.' WD drives are work horses ! I have several with my total TB capacity at over 16 Tb. Half are WD. I have never had a problem ! (knock, knock on wood). But I do not anticipate any. If this HDD comes up on Rebate again, I will buy another ! I've had 'hands on' experience installing WD drives in PCs. The same quality, ease of use, simplicity to install croses all of their product lines. Buy with confidence. This HDD installed faster than the time it took for me to remove it from its box ! Enjoy... What are you waiting for ? Buy one !! Regards.

High capacity; High value
This external drive lets me back up data on 4 desktop units and 2 laptops at very low cost. The drive works well and its high capacity lets me store an enormous amount of backup data on one drive. Great value for the money.

Flawless (so far)
I only received and installed this drive recently and I have had no problems so far. I cannot comment yet on long term reliability. Easy plug-and-play. Loads of capacity. Flawless!

Awesome drive
Quick plug and play. Started loading it up with my Music, HD movies, and HD tv shows about 5 minutes after receiving it. Used up about 30-35% so far. Its been a relief on my internals. Wish I could create a VHD but will use one of my smaller internals for that. If you need lots of memory and don't wanna spend a ton of dough this is the best deal I've seen period.

Great Drive!
I bought this to replace a 500GB one. Got the drive really quickly and it up and running in no time. I use it for Time Machine backups and extra space. It is working like a champ!
