Nice hardware- Replaced a smaller 120GB SSDD
Installed in early 2011 MacBook Pro with 750GB 7800 RPM HDD in my OWC Data doubler carrier. Initialization took a couple of passes but after the initializaton (Disk Utility), was able to clone effortlessly using the restore option. Been running hard and and heavy (and cool) for 10 days now with no issue. This is a 'bare bones' drive in a plain plastic case. But hey, who ever sees it Well worth the money for this size drive.

Difference maker!
I replaced a 5400rpm disk drive in my i3 laptop with this SSD 4 mo ago. oh my! my 1st gen i3 runs laps around my wife's new 3rd gen i5 with a 5400 rpm hard drive. Itunes comes up in about 5 seconds vs 45 seconds. 60 MB Quickbooks file opens in 5 seconds vs 30 seconds. An install of Win 8 and applying all updates was finished in about 20 - 30 minutes. Took over an hour to download and apply just apply updates on the i5. The disk was the bottleneck, I watched the entire time. This little device gave me back my time - which is one of the most valuable things I have!

14.5 seconds from pushing the power button to desktop. Impressively fast. Go to Internet explorer instantly. Awesome!

Flawless
What can I say! It works as expected. I ghosted over the OS and my programs and it all works. It is fast with no noise. The original solid state I had was too small. This should do for a while.
