Nice product for the price.
Worked great right out of the box.Takes nice video and very simple to use.Mine came with a large nick at the bottom of the case that was touched up with black paint,but it was just a refurb and I guess that happens.

If Functional: Functional, 'IF' is the Problem
Gave 5 stars for Features because the lowlight behaviour and color balance were surprisingly good. Unfortunately, all others categories were a 1 star rating because surprisingly the camera wouldn't work for more than a few minutes. Unforgivable IMO for a refurb item such as I purchased because such items are supposedly individually inspected and fixed or tested to clarify why each fracking item was returned in the first place.

Good Digital Camcorder
Picture quality is very good if you can hold the camera perfectly still, since it lacks image stabilization. For me, that means the only way I will get a picture that doesn't jerk around is if I mount it on a tripod or set it on something solid. Would also be nicer if it had a storage card slot. You can easily find a rechargeable battery for it on the web for less than $7 with free shipping if you don't want to burn through batteries.

These things are great.
I think a lot of people are missing the boat with these. They are great for what they are. Put them in your glovebox or purse and you video so much more than you would with traditional video camera. The secret is lithium batteries. They last a long, long time. Turn a negative into a plus. We have gotten so many things on tape that we would have missed otherwise. This is our second one and we love them. Price is incredible.
