Works Great
I used the hard drive to hook up to my bell receiver PVR to record programs. It works great and is compatible with the bell system. A lot of memory for a good price.

Great Buy
Worked great out of the box. Easy setup, Windows read it immediately and correctly. I like the fact that it runs extremely quiet and is very cool when running. I'd buy another in a heart beat.

Works Great!!
Works great! Very quiet, stores data as advertised. I used this as a DVR expander and it is currently only 12% full with all HD movies. It does get warm, so mae sure it has a little space to dissipate the heat.

DVR External Drive
Works quietly, looks nice, never throws errors and could not be simpler to set up. I have added this USB 2.0 drive to my existing stable of two other Phantom drives, they are USB 3.0 drives, identical to this one. Both of which are used as rotating back-up drives on our system here. Both of the 3.0 drives work flawlessly also, and are used nightly on an automated basis to back up all the household data. This new drive supports a families addiction to having a large catalog of movie titles, USB 2.0 is more than adequate for that work with a DVR.
