Good Sound Card
Took a few times of trying to install the driver on Win 7 but then it worked great.

Works with Win 7 32 bit
Was having problems with other cards but this one installed easyly. Best to just point it to the cd drive and let windows find the driver it wants.

Great Buy!

Low Profile Best Option
There is some confusion as to where the drivers are for W7. I was told to get them at startech's website. But no, they are indeed on the included disc (even if the W7 compatibility logo is not present). The drivers are online as well but I could not get them to install from the disc I made with the downloaded files. I gave the included disc a shot before I was going to give it up and sure enough the drivers were there (drivers for most OS are there). Startech is a quality company that stands by their stuff & they answer their phones. Imagine that...

Software complicated
This card works great, once you figure out how to configure it. I have a Logitech Z-680 5.1 system and I spent hours configuring the software for what should be a simple process. I almost returned it. I did not have this problem with my Audigy, but it would not fit in this half-height slot. Now that it's configured, it's performing well. I actually took screen shots of every setup screen to ensure I will be able to get it to work again if I lose the configuration or move it to another machine.
