Not for me
Compact size and has a built in mic however brand new out of the box, plugged it in got all kinds of static on the TV without the sound. Plugged in the sound and got lots of distortion. This is not a very good product. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Called to return it and had another sent to me instead. Same issues as the first one. Nothing changed. Not worth it. Spend the extra cash and buy an IP cam. I can't even get a clear picture from the opposite end of the room left alone in the next room. I've tried everything to fix the issue but Its just not worth any more of my time.

Works, But Unusable
The unit is small; the receiver will fit in the palm of your hand. The aluminum case feels solid, but the rough edges and machine screws hint at a very low quality construction. Does not remember the camera's channel setting, so unless your camera is factory set at Channel 1, you will have to press the Select button multiple times every time it loses power to get it to work. Even indoors with a clear line-of-sight, the video begins to tear badly at 20 feet. at 30 with 1 wall, it becomes unintellible. Not useful at all, since it will only work if the camera is in the same room with you. Avoid this one.

bad
at this price I expected it not to be too good...BUT it doesnt even come up to toy quality. Lousy picture, poor connection.. not worth anything, junk.
