average video card
I bought this to upgrade from a really crappy ATI card that I had laying around as a back-up. Well the first one I got ended up throwing a fit on the d-sub channel & video almost never opened onto my second display, returned it & the second card arrived shortly there after the second card worked well, though not much of a performance increase over the GeForce 7900 I ran before it. Overall I would have to say this is an average card & pretty solidly built, the fan can be loud at times, but over all not too bad. For about $40 more though I would go with the GTX 500 series cards.

Great Graphics Card
I bought this graphics card mostly because I don't like sharing memory. I have been running two in two seperate computers for just over 6 months now and the first one I had sounded generator until I had a friend tighten up the fan and it was much smoother sounding. The second one was quiet for the most part, but definately not as loud as the first. I was very happy with the 3D features and the ease of installation, Windows recognition and driver upgrades. It does not heat up my computer at all or take a power cable or large amount of energy from the PSU. Great product for the price.

Not with Win7
Installed easily but had boot problems with Win7. Updated drivers and even upgraded power supply. Also core temps were sky high. Might work with XP?

Great value
I generally use older equipment and am always looking for good deals to upgrade my systems. This card is running in a computer hooked up to a HD TV. The operating system is Linux Mint which found the correct proprietry drivers for the card. This will likely extend the useful life of the computer for another five years.

Great card needing only a 300 watt power supply.
I've been using it for a few weeks now, and it seems to be working great on the HD content that I bought it for. The 4 stars for quality could improve to 5 if the card proves itself over time and doesn't have to be replaced next year.
