Great bang for the buck
Computer was well-packed and ran straight out of the box. I was surprised to find that I needed to download a codec set (free) before the DVD-RW would recognize and play DVDs. Likewise, no software was included for writing DVDs, more of an inconvenience than an issue. This machine sits next to my Windows 7 computer and is used to run 32 bit applications.

Great buy
This is a great buy. I worked management at a telecomm company and the GX520's and GX620's were in the call centers for years. They are workhorses. I needed a reliable back up desk top at home..So I thought why not as a home PC. So far so good. Not as strong as on a big company network but More than adequate for basic home use. Thinking of getting another one.

Not Pleased
THE COMPUTER WAS FALLING APART WHEN I OPENED IT. ONCE I GOT THINGS REATTACHED IT RAN GREAT, FOR A WEEK. IT THEN PREFORMED AT SUCH A SLOW PACE, I HAD TO GET AN EXPERT IN TO FIX THE PROBLEM. IT RUNS BETTER BUT STILL NOT UP TO SPEED AND WHEN I RUN CERTAIN APPLICATIONS, THE RADIO CUTS IN AND OUT TO THE POINT THAT I HAVE TO SHUT IT OFF UNTIL I AM FINISHED. AOL RADIO WORKS WHEN NOTHING ELSE IS GOING ON. I EXPECTED BETTER. I WOULD HAVE SENT IT BACK, BUT DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF WORK I HAD, THERE WAS NO TIME. I WILL HAVE TO THINK LONG AND HARD BEFORE PURCHASING FROM YOU AGAIN.

Great Product and Service, but...
A friend recommended this site and this is my first time buying. In my opinion this was a great deal, a great system for basic computing, and great service and prompt delivery. The only problem I have had is after only three months I noticed my Hard Disk was dying... and it is now down to 50 percent. I contatced them, but have still not had any luck in getting it replaced... mind you, I have a busy day job, so my contact has been dificult. Otherwise, it is a great system and I would recommend buying here. If I do get the HD replaced, I will buy another system for the kids.

Dell Optiplex is great BUT
When I received the system the keyboard was busted up. The mouse that was sent was a cheap mouse but I already had a good one to replace it with. Everything else works great.
