Fast!
First SSD. Using it for OS and gaming programs only. Have a 1TB WD VelociRaptor 1000DHTZ as a data HD.

Boot time 18 seconds!
I have 3 computers, and hate to use two of them. Why? Those two have their factory HDDs and seem so slow now! But with the Samsung SSD, Boot time is fast. Programs load in a snap. Full security scan speed is unbelievable! Wake time from sleep is FAST. I did a Windows 8 clean install and moved all library files to a fast HDD.

so far so good
upgraded from a 720 rpm hdd. no problems so far. cloning software worked fine. speed improvement is noticeable but not earth shattering. seems to improve battery life somewhat.

Super Fast!!
This SSD is amazing! Its super fast and it feels very well built. Just a reminder if, if you want to slide it into a 3.5 in. bay you need to get an adapter. That being said I just put velcro on mine and found a nice spot out of the way to place it :)

Impressive
Super fast and very easy to set up. Be warned nothing but the ssd is in the box. Did a fresh install of win 7 and had no problems at all. Be sure to set your bios to achi before you install windows. It makes a huge diff in the performance. Will buy again if they get them back in stock!

super fast
I bought 3 of these for 3 different computers - windows loads in seconds- I run MMO's 2 at a time with no hesitation and the ssd on one of three computers is almost full - still fast!!! I just wish the price would come down so I could order another set of 3

I'm not liking this SSD
It is fast, not. Only the benchmarks in Samsung's utility show that. To boot into Windows is fast, only before you can actually use the system the screen goes black for random amounts of time, like today for instance took about 3 minutes before the Windows desktop screen appeared again. once it gets done with that I have no problems. I've only used about 59 GB of the 230 or so space available. I've used OCZ Agility 3's in the past on my other computers and they perform great too. I don't notice much difference in speed between Samsung or any others.

Outrageously good, and reliable
I've only had it a month thus far, but if it's as reliable as the 830 series that I have in my laptop, this will be the drive to get for all those seeking the ultimate in current SSD performance combined with longevity. Recognized by my MB out of the box, and required nothing out of the ordinary. THe included software is quite nice for configuration as well.
