Terrific Value
Replaced my 250GB SATA drive in my Netbook with this Solid State drive and it performs extremely well. I used the VisionTek Universal SSD Cloning Installation Kit to clone my original drive. In a little over an hour my system was operating much faster. Boot-up and picture indexing is noticeably faster.

Easy install - perfect fit in HP Pavillion laptop
Drive installed easily in my laptop using the existing screws and mounting bracket. Dramatic performance improvement in spite of SATA II interface on my four year old computer. To early to comment on reliability.

Nice upgrade
Going from a 90gb SSD to this is very nice. Didnot like the fact that it comes with no sata cable or any kind of mounts. Its fast and cool and under 200 so its a buy for me.

Samsung 840 Series 250GB SSD
Bought it to clone Gateway laptop HD so I could install it on the laptop as major drive and use laptop HD as D drive. Program that came with the SSD refused to clone. HD larger than SSD. I tried another program that I had from another SSD. It would not work. I bought Acronis. It would not work. So, I'm having to use it as a secondary drive. Still trying to figure why Gateway's Win 8 will not allow me to clone.

When It Works
I am having to return this item because it failed. I've had it for less than a month, placed all my MMORPG games on it and luckily I backed them up. Samsung is a name I trust and I must be a rare case, so I'm really glad I didn't make it my main operating system HD. We'll see when I get the new one how long it will last.
