Very Nice.
I put this in a brand new Acer Aspire V5-471p running W8. Simple three step cloning software and I now get somewhere between a 4 & 5 second boot. Been running it for a week and haven't had any issues so far.

Something was wrong with the CD
I put the CD that came with the drive into a second machine to read the manual. It appears that something started to run. Before I could get things stopped what ever was running appears to have modified the MBR taking out Windows with it. Had to restore with a back up. The drive itself works well... The CD is now somewhere out at the landfill.

Excellent Buy
I just bought an I7 Asus Laptop ... once I plugged this SSD in it became ridiculously fast. The start-up from an off state takes only 15 seconds to the password entry. before it was 29. I am super pleased. Could be a little bigger though.

Excellent price, working as intended
Purchased this for a budget build, the price at the time was to good to pass up. Installed the OS only and use a 500gb mech for clutter. the Samsung as held up so far and do not expect any issues. For my choice at the time I am satisfied. Working as intended.

Works as designed, awesomeness!
I bought a new Gateway Laptop NE5647u. Got force feed Windows 8, which I do not like or want. I have used in several other places, stores and tried for a while at home and YES I hate it. Now about the hard drive. I removed the hard drive that came with the laptop and installed this one, change the bias to legacy and then loaded windows 7. All is well and the laptop is super fast, no regrets about the SSD hard drive. I encourage others to upgrade to a SSD. Oh, I also upgrade my desk tower compute to a SSD too, runs great! Super speed upgrade!
