Excellent product and value.

I bought two to update a couple of laptops. They are super fast and reliable. The cloning software that came with it was easy to use and flawless. I use big adobe programs and files and they pop open so fast I just grin. Very happy with this purchase.

Some Gain in Speed

Not quite as fast booting laptop as I expected; the windows password screen comes up right away, but there still is a bit of a wait for the desktop. Guess that's my i5 processor rather than the drive. Otherwise everything is good and programs do load faster. I didn't use the enclosed software to clone my drive to the SSD. It was too slow through USB. I put the SSD into a eSATA docking station on a desktop machine and plugged laptop drive into a SATA port. Transfer accomplished quickly via Paragon software. Put SSD in laptop and it booted right up. My first SSD so can't compare. It does work fine. Would recommend.

Fast and Solid Hard Drive

I have owned this Solid State Drive for about a month now and have no issues with it. The drive is extremely fast (installations and load times are much quicker than regular platter drives) and comes with a three year warranty. Just be sure to backup your Solid State before problems occur as no drive manufacturer is responsible for data recovery. Also, I am using Windows 8 and the Operating System automatically configured the correct settings (turn off Defrag, System Restore, etc). For older operating systems, some of these settings need to be set manually, but there are websites out there telling you how.

Excellent read speeds, easy install, good value

I love the speed of this drive. Easy to install even though there is no Samsung support for Linux. However, I just used Parted Magic Live CD with Clonezilla to copy my existing HDD to this SSD. Easy peasy!! Booted up the first time so fast that I rebooted a few more times just to see if it was just a fluke. It wasn't. Awesome purchase. I highly recommend picking one up...if you have the means.

Works great

Product arrived sooner than expected. Used the included migration software and cloned my spinner disk in a few minutes. Installed the new drive and computer booted right up with no problems at all. It now boots in about 10 to 15 seconds and there is a very noticeable improvement in performance.

Free migration software

Migration software is included and downloadable off Samsung website. That is huge cause imaging Windows over does not work and other drives dont come with it. Great drive and great value from a reliable company.

Excellent drive, excellent price!

rive kit is well thought out in every way (I have 3 of them). The cloning cable is handy, the cloning software is fine, the drive is fast. Have had no problems installing three of these drives as C: drives.

Put this is my HP Pav DV7 laptop. Only thing I didn't like was when they tell you that the drive firmware takes a little space I didn't think it would take the capacity to 232.89GB. Other than that I liked it so much that I bought a Samsung 500GB for my desktop. While the cloning software worked great on the laptop it didn't on the desktop, so I download a free cloning program that took care of it.
