Same old song
While I find WIN7 to be a very good useable OS I want to know when will I NOT have to by third party malware and other utilities to protect it? Google OS does not need third party protection!

Better value than vista was in 2007
Worked the first time it was installed, cost half as much as vista, and no complaints about 'strange' or 'difficult' comments from co-workers. not much of a problem with drivers, and fewer account control pop-up warnings, as promised. Able to upgrade to higher resolution with 7, without hardware change.

Windows 8 not so great
I just bought an ASUS G75VW and it came with Win8. After two days of hunting and peeling throught layers of programs to find what I need. I bought Win7 Ultimate, had to use some work arounds to reload the drivers because they made for Win8. Now that I have everything setup the Win7 was made for the G75VW. It smokes.
