Did not have this two months. They do not include any system or recovery disks with it. Ran very hot all the time. Sure looked good. stay away!!

i had been looking for a laptop for my sister (she got laid off) and had passed on a few other ads that promised free upgrades to Windows 7. While this is a great deal;in my excitement, I neglected to notice that Windows 7 was not included even though this ad was the week before it was released. I'm not claiming fraud but it felt a little bit like bait and switch to me.

I had this laptop for about a week before I started having problems. The computer constantly shuts down for no reason. It gets incredibly hot all the time and all I'm doing is surfing the web. I'm not an expert when diagnosing computer problems by any means but this does not seem normal. On another note, the plastic around the edges of the keyboard have started coming up and I occasionally have to pop it back in place.
I guess for the specs you get this computer is priced relatively well. I did my research and gathered from the reviews that this laptop was pretty decent. Maybe I just got a bad apple. If I could get another computer I would probably go with a Toshiba or an HP.

i have been renting laptop for over a yr from compac to sony and i love this one the only thing that i am upset about is the cam best cam out there is a crystal eye and since i cam every night with a dear friend of mine its a little upsetting but the putter is one of the best i have had

Laser Labeling Technology!
The Labelflash™ system burns pictures directly into a special layer added to
the non-data, or label, side of a DVD disc and eliminates the need for
special printers, and consumables such as ink.

What is ExpressCard™ technology? ExpressCard technology is the name

What Is A Cell? It's a
battery
Though technically a battery has multiple cells, we are accustomed to calling a
single energy cell a battery as well.
In
electronics, a battery or voltaic cell is a combination of many electrochemical
Galvanic cells of identical type to store chemical energy and to deliver it in
the form of electricity. The battery cells combine to produce more energy
(voltage or amps) than a cell by itself. When joined in this way, it is a
battery of cells. Almost all portable electronics use one or more cells -
rechargeable or disposable. The more cells, the more energy available -
meaning more hours of use usually.
In Notebook computers, the battery case usually
holds three or more cells. 3 Cell batteries tend to provide about 1-3
hours of use, depending on the energy needs of the Laptop. 6 cell (or
more) batteries provide much more energy, and many more hours of use. This
can be good or bad! More cells mean longer use, but more weight too!
So remember to always check for the number of
cells if specified, and choose the right configuration for your use.
