Could Be Better
Horrible performance, even on a gigabit network. Numerous install issues, and the software is the culprit. Took it home where I have a quite large network and had a totally different set of issues. I'm an IT Director so I'm not doing this blindly either. I would suggest building a decent computer and throwing drives in it - use it as a backup server. You can do it for the same price.

It's all right but not great
Very good price but leaves a lot to be desired in terms of performance. Had trouble with software, hung up a few times. Media playback was jittery. Works best as a backup device but even then it was too slow. The product is alright but not great.

One out of 14 of my cameras connect to ix2
Out of all my cameras; only one connects with the included software. The ''cloud'' won't work with my router, even when manually configured. I wish I would have bought a cpu for what I wanted to use it for and the price. I tried to list the camera here; but they won't let me use brands. Does a great job storing backups.
