very good buy
laptop is light and thin. good sound and video. biggest drawback is windows 8. wife hates it but is resisting change. I learned it and removed some unnecessary items and it runs faster now. windows 8 does lag in strange places. I would buy again with windows 7 to keep family happy

Pretty Good
No real problems with this setup it does need more ram to bring out the potential of it's higher end processor and graphics cards.

One Very Happy Camper Here!
I was really surprised on the capabilities and performance of this machine, perfection is so visible in the design of this beauty, light weight but powerful, multi-media is a picnic for this machine, smooth video, superb sound! I had it for about a month now and definitely this machine has become my companion. Whether in use for work or leisure, I haven't feel the machine is not reaching my expectations, all of the opposite! One more thing, I had machines that I've paid three times as much as this one, I was never as happy with them as I am with this unit, seriously!

solid computer, some issues
Real, live, human owner here. This is a sleek, fast and cheap computer, BUT not out of the box. There is tons of bloatware that you need to get rid of and really slows down the machine. Also the 6 GB of ram is low quality and needs to be upgraded. Go for $100 16gb of Crucial vengance ram or better if you can afford it. After the upgrade and software clean up, this baby runs like a beast. battery life is meh. PS6 for 2-2.5 hours at best on a charge. Internet and streaming for 3-4 hours on a charge. But its an $800 computer with upgrades and runs better than my buddies $2200 macbook pro! feels and looks great and wonderful for gaming and design work. ok screen. budget beast!

Good Buy, Good Features
This computer has all the features you need in a lightweight package. Good size hard drive and fairly fast. Windows 8 was easy to use. Wi-Fi is always on.
