Nice laptop
My first Asus computer and I am impressed. Quality built, nice feel, excellent features. Operates flawlessly. Windows 8, uh, not so much.

good computer, hard disk is pinch point
The computer works well with multiple applications at once and video editing is faster than my quad core by quite a bit. Crystal clear screen and the sound is simply the best I've ever heard on a laptop, surprisingly good. I just wish there was a faster hard drive on this computer but the USB 3.0 will help.

Don't buy an ASUS product
I bought an ASUS tablet for my wife. Sat wrapped for several weeks. Would not turn on. Sent back for repair. Took a very long time. Worked for several weeks. Same problem. Contacted them and they said it was out of warranty - even though it was the same problem. I have a dead tablet that worked a few times. I even had an email that said they would fix it. DON'T DO IT!

Best deal right now
I bought this laptop as a replacement to my old laptop that broke down a couple of months ago. Pros: This is a beautiful machine. It has a full keyboard, sharp and bright monitor, it stay's cool even with high end games running. I play SWTOR and on the highest settings there is no lag and the picture is perfect. Full HD makes it real nice to watch netflix and dvd's. Cons: Windows 8. ASUS has yet to release drivers for Win 7. Until then I'll suffer. Also I could have sworn that the keyboard was backlit. Can anyone help with this issue? It would really help when playing games in a dark room.

Work On Your Windows8 Skills
The laptop is very high quality, loaded with many features; features that I haven't even gotten to yet and I have had this for several months. I use it for business-Mobile Marketing (text dsbiz to 71441 on your smartphone to see more), and it hasn't let me down yet. The peripherals are numerous that you can hookup to this which makes this laptop more versatile. The wireless is great, it sees whatever is out there to connect too. The only con is battery life, because of the hi-performance it will drain a battery; so keep it charging when you can. I would recommend this laptop though; I like it very much.
