You get what you pay for
This is a quiet little fan. I bought it expecting the mounting pins to be broken... and well they were. but as far as the fan goes and cooling. It's better than the stock heat sink. System runs around room temp at idle and under load only goes up a max of 10 degrees c. So if you need a low profile heat sink and you don't mind buying some screws to mount this. Then I recommend this.

Most of mounting pins were broking off in package.

for 12 bucks get your own backing plate!!!
I used a metal thru the motherboard backing plate to mount it because all push through pins are trash... The fan is lovely quiet and cools perfectly well on 9505 quad core on a mini iTx board in a 1U mini case while it grinds thru audio work station duties...

Might cool great
These could cool fine but I'll never know. I bought two of them and both had the pegs broken off. I sent them back and got two more, more broken pegs. I'm done.

junk, junk, junk!!!
bought two of these,biggest mistake, one had pieces off in the package, the other one was falling apart as I tried installing it-don't buy this fan!!!not even worth sending it back-guess that's why the great price.
