Cuisinart Electronic 4-Slice toaster
Since our old fashioned toaster expired after 12 years of good service, I am delighted with the many toasting options this model gives me. I am very pleased with it other than the fact that it does tend to over darken thick cut bread items on one side. That could be my fault because I haven't used it often enough as yet. Regardless, a wonderful product for a great price!

Disappointing
My previous Cuisinart toaster was excellent so I hoped this could replace it. The slots are too small for oval shaped bread, and it doesn't toast evenly top-to-bottom or front-to-back. One side of my bagel was toasted but the other side was burned.

Well featured, mediocre performance
Lots of bells and whistles on this toaster allow you to make it do way more than most toasters. Settings like reheat and defrost let you do more than just make toast. The dual controls let you individualize the settings for each side of 2 slots. The slots are wide yet clamp well when toasting. As great as the features are the bottom line is how well it toasts. 3 out of 4 slots on my unit did fine but 1 side of 1 slot consistantly toasts the bottom half to lightly as compared to the rest (still white while the rest is golden brown). Due to this I can only give it a 2 for its performance
