7.0 rating on Windows Experience Rating
This is one awesome laptop. I am totally surprised that the video is what caused the rating to be 7.0. I was hoping for a better sound system, but this is by far the best laptop sound I've ever heard. Guess you can't expect concert speaker sound out of little laptop speakers and woofers, but I will keep wishing. Really puts my Asus ROG g75 laptop to shame. I am really satisfied with this laptop. Now I just need to learn more about Windows 8.

Gaming Powerhouse
This is an impressive piece of gear. The first thing I did was install Start8 to get a Windows 7 desktop and start menu. For $5, it is the best deal going for getting a familiar user interface on Windows 8. I installed some high requirement software the the Nvidia performed without a hitch. Only problem is the Nvidia card reported a problem to Windows after three days. I contacted MSI and they send an RMA to get it fixed under the standard 2 year warranty. The only problem I have with this is the $45 shipping fee was paid by me to send it to CA. Waiting for it to be repaired at this time.

Best Gift Ever!
I bought this laptop as a Christmas present for my husband. He is big on gaming and absolutely loves this laptop. He is still thanking me for it. He said the graphics on this laptop is sick and is also comparable to the graphics card he had bought for his desktop. He can not believe how fast the speed on this computer is. This laptop is AMAZING! Even though it has Windows 8 on it, it wasn't difficult to figure out how to use it my husband says. One feature I really liked about the laptop was how the keyboard illuminates. The shipping on this item was fast and it even arrived a day early. I am very happy with this purchase and the price was very decent for all the features it has.
