Cables To Go Velocity ™ 25-Foot Component Video Cable
VelocityTM Component Video Interconnects from Impact Acoustics offer high-quality
vivid detail and color for today’s video and home theater applications.
These cost-effective performance cables give you maximum picture quality compared
to ordinary composite or s-video cables. Low-loss 75ohm oxygen-free copper center
conductors and foam dielectric provides improved picture quality and performance.
The 100% Mylar® foil and OFC braid shield protects against unwanted noise and interference. The color-coded molded connectors attach to an ultra flexible jacket allowing for easy installation and identification. The 24K gold plated, durable connectors ensure long lasting, corrosion-free connections. Component Video Interconnects connect video equipment with component video output jacks to televisions, projectors with component video input jacks.
By using Component Video Cables, you bypass the TV’s Y/C separator and Color Decoder, routing the color (Y, Cr, Cb ) information directly into the TV's matrix decoder. By sending the pure DVD component video signal directly to a component video input-equipped display device, the DVD signal forgoes the extra processing that normally would degrade the image. The result is a vastly increased image quality, with incredibly lifelike colors and crisp detail.

No signal loss.
I purchased the 25 ft cable. I was concerned about signal loss. My concern was allayed once I connected it. There appeared to be no signal loss from what I could tell.

Great DVD to LCD picture, up graded from S-Video and the picture was much better. (I purchased the 6' cables)

Bought these at 6ft. length; no problems; didn't notice much change in picture, but it is on a CRT TV... I'm sure one of those DLP or LCD TVs (forget plasma, it's all about pixel pitch (density)) would show a much more appreciable difference. I did notice that the color saturation went up, which I like.

I had this cable run up the wall and across the attic to connect to my projector. The picture was great for about a month then everything turned green. I'm assuming the heat in the attic caused the problem. I ended up buying Monster cables and haven't had another problem. I guess I should have spent the extra money up front and bought the Monster cables first.
