I got what I paid for.
I am a Tech and I have not worked on many of these computers on the bench. I know it does not come with that fast video card, just the standard onboard video so limited on what you can play for video games but still a decent onboard video chip. This computer is just a present and what I could afford. I upgraded the standard 4 GB ram to 8 GB of ram. I added one of the free start menus for windows 8 so the upgrade to the new windows operating system is not so much a shock. Has some decent speed for an i5. Moved all the data from the 13 year old Dell with the new 3.0 USB port in minutes instead of an hour or more. I would recommend buying this computer if your short on cash and want something of a decent speed. Good luck on your purchases.

Excellent Value
I bought this to replace a 12 year old P4. Love this computer. Great speed. I bought another 8g of ram and I'm very happy with that decision. Not crazy about Windows 8 but getting used to it. It does everything I need it to do.

Great Machine For The Price
I had to replace a 4 year old computer that had a fried motherboard. I thought my old computer was great until I got my hands on this one. Its fast. I did throw an extra 4GB stick of ram in. I wasn't a fan of the Windows 8 at first, it would probably be better if I had a touch screen, so I downloaded an app which makes it appear like Windows 7 and I'm very happy with it.

Excellent Computer
Bought this to replace our 10-year-old Dell. Wasn't sure about getting a Gateway, but there was no need to be apprehensive. Great machine
