Could have been better with Windows 7
This is my first Lenovo desktop and also my first 'slim' PC. Booting time is fast and the PC is quite responsive, however, my opinion is that only the tablets and PC's with touch enabled screen should be reserved for Windows 8 operating system. Microsoft made everything much more difficult with the release of Windows 8 for the desktop users. I wish there was an option of choosing between Windows 7 and 8. I've had unresponsive mouse during boot up a few times, but other than that my experience with H520s has been pretty good. AVI and MKV videos via HDMI played flawlessly and all youtube videos worked fine in HD mode also. I don't play games and I know this machine is not configured for gamers, so I have no opinion on that matter. This machine will take care of your basic computing needs.
