Does everything I need with top speed!!
I bought the first one, and it blew out due to brand new faulty MB (can anyone guess the MSI board at fault?) :P anyways, after the easy return and replacement, I now have an ASUS Sabertooth GEN3 board running the FX 3850 cool and fast!! I can find no fault with this processor, in my current setup.

Gameing and OC
A must for AMD fans OC to 6.9 GHZ back in march been running none Stop no heat issues on air windows score 7.9 on Gigabyte 890 board same on MSI 85 board 70 deg is not hot that's room temp OC under load temp hit 92 Deg F not bad

So far, terrific!
I set out to build an inexpensive, high-performance PC for use in a specialized amateur radio application calling for lots of processing power, an adequate but not huge amount of memory, and minimal video and audio. This CPU gave me what I wanted at a very attractive price compared to Intel processors with similar Passmark scores. So far it has run 24 hours a day for a month, and never exceeded 10 percent CPU utilization. I'm not sure what it will take to make it breathe hard.

AWESOME!!!
This is a pretty good processor with nice performance. This processor is pretty good for gaming if your game uses multiple cores. The reason I gave 4 for features is because the stock fan that comes with the processor can sometimes leave the processor hot. With-out overclocking I got a max of 70 degrees. (HOT!)
