Solid laptop, but touchpad is fickle
I like the good feel of the keyboard and numeric pad that is not common on laptops. I like the fingerprint reader that makes it easy to login. It has good power and very sharp LED screen. However, the touchpad (possibly because of the many extra features) does not always consistently respond on some of my fingers. I have not gotten used to Win 8 as it is cumbersome to close some screens by having to go to the start screen and dragging the mouse to the upper left of the screen and then right clicking to close some windows that do not offer a close icon or respond to Ctl W. How is this an improvement?

Good hardware, Win 8 stinks
The laptop seems to be a very good piece of hardware with nice features. I thought it came with Win 7 with upgrade to Win 8. I was wrong. Win 8 has been extremely frustrating and took a long time to get all my stuff moved over and working. It took a long time to find simple things like Control Panel. Many of the options are hidden in places where you only find them by accident. I am finally learning to use Win 8, but I don't like it at all. I must admit that so far it has worked pretty good, although sometimes it takes forever to wake up from Sleep, but most of the time it is very quick.

Pretty good laptop for the price.
I got this computer for my wife for Christmas. It arrived earlier than expected, which was nice. She seems to love it. No problems except for Windows' incessant software updates. Good product for the price.
