Decent, but typical of Microsoft
You need to know what you're getting into with Windows 8. It does have a learning curve, as others have mentioned. However, all of the classic Windows features and functionality are still there if you know where to look and how to enable them. Once you've gotten used to the interface, it's not that hard to find your way around.

Save Your Money
I bought this to upgrade an Acer laptop from Windows 7... possibly the worst buying decision of the year for me. The OS is hopelessly confusing and likes to take over the screen with no clear way to get out. The only thing that saved me was installing Classic Shell to get back the Windows 7 functionality, I should have just stayed with Windows 7...

One Interesting Flaw
I didn't realize it when I purchased this version, but Microsoft doesn't really support it. They leave it strictly to whomever installs it. If it's in the fine print, then I blame myself for not seeing it. Either way, unless you know absolutely everything there is to know about Windows, don't buy the OEM version.

Nice OS but has a learning curve
Definitely a tablet style OS. It takes a little learning curve but not crazy difficult to figure out. If you use your computer for strictly business style or work this OS may not be for you. On the other hand if its for leisure and social networking and you love tablet style touch interface this is an excellent choice. Make sure you have a quality touch screen monitor!!!
