Win8 on older Laptop
I couldn't run windows 7 but I can run windows8 on a older laptop. I'm very happy to keep using my old laptop instead of buying a new one. I see that Microsoft will stop supporting XP soon so I jumped on the Windows 8 wagon. Glad I did! I really like it. O ly problem I'm having is IE10 is having some issues with windows 8 like at checkouts, it sometimes won't let me continue to checkout. In those cases I switch to Google chrome. No worries. I'm sure Microsoft will fix it.

Working well on old Pentum-IV
I'm glad I can update my old computers with Windows 8 for only $100.00. Installed on a Pentium-IV 3.4 GHz (single core) with 4 GB of RAM, this OEM full version was easy to install on a brand new hard disk. Now I have to get used with the new interface......

It's another Windows
This seems to me to be a serious attempt from microsoft to hit the tablet market with home PC's. It operates good so far, but does not seem to be as user friendly as previous versions. Maybe I just need to get used to it. I'm sure in a few weeks it will be the best thing out there, but I do miss my vista...oh wow I did say that out loud. I never used windows 7 s maybe i missed some of the translation to 8.
