Good Buy, Good Service

Used primarily for audio CD books & purchased for advertised features of skip free quality and battery life. First unit only played for one hour then died. Called TD and they immediately started a new unit shipment while I was on the phone with them and I had a return authorization and shipping label in my email within a few minutes. The replacement arrived within a reasonable time and has worked to perfection with incredible battery life. Good product, good company.

Much better then the others

Its really hard to find a decent portable CD Player. Sure the dollar stores and discounters have those cheap off brands which may last a few months. I had my last Sony Discman for almost a decade. This one sounds good but I did notice that the plastic quality is not as good as my old one. I have no big complaints though. It works well and even some scratchy discs play without problem.

I really like how simple it is to use. I would like to get one for my mom as a gift.

works well for walkers

Most CD players, when used for audio books, will stop, skip or fail when carried in a walker's pocket. This one keeps its place and performs well. It is interesting that the CD players for joggers seem to fail when carried in a jacket pocket while walking, so this is a great buy.

Decent cd player

Easy to use, good quality product. Very lightweight. Not sure where you'd put it if you were actually walking, it has no clip like older models had. I use it on treadmill or stationary bike. The ear buds that come with it are not the best, as they come off the ear hooks too easily, but they do HAVE ear hooks. I got a pair of headphones to use with it. The longer cord makes them good for use at gym on machines. I don't give it 5 stars because it's plastic and not metal like previous models. Seems cheaper and easier to break, but if you are reasonably careful with it, it shouldn't be a problem. Good for the price. I'd compare with the higher end model if quality is of utmost importance. I was just looking for utility at the cheapest price. It's good enough for me.
