I bought this for my girlfriend..
She cannot handle because is heavy and weight simply too much!!
Window media stop working one week after I received.
Laptop come with a manual, not original box and everything in a ziploc bag.
Desapointed. Last time I bought a refurbished toshiba. |

I purchased 2 of these laptops as gifts for a friend and a mother-in-law of mine. There are 2 things that would have made these better is a Blu-ray player and the option to upgrade to Windows 7. I have given them a 1 in Quality only because Toshiba neglected to put a recovery partition on one of the hard drives. I have talked with tech support on at least 4 different occasions and one time with a superviser and they keep telling me that it is going to cost me to get a recovery disk sent to me even though the laptop is still under warranty and Toshiba is the one at fault! |

This is a truly amazing well thought out machine. I wasn't to sure of the screen size but when I got it I just couldn't put it down. Strapped with all the best of features and brilliant screen viewing the functionality of this LCD TV in my bedroom and watch dvds all the time with one of multiple HDMI ports.I do allot of movie editing, music & photo processing and use multiple programs simultaneously and this does not even bat an eye at what I put to it. Streaming music or video never hesitates for a second. This is a very solid and powerful machine loaded with great features and can handle everything you ask it to do. I love this laptop, I love the brand and it's performance is exceptional in every aspect of the word. Very well built machine. I highly recommend this to anyone that does heavy work loads and multi-tasks in the entertainment area or just for reliability on a very solid machine. Go for it. You'll have no doubt,Just Enjoy |

This computer's strong point is the screen. It is like a drive in movie in your bed.
I returned the machine because this is a far cry from a good gaming machine and that is what i intended on buying. If you want a great machine for watching stuff and non gaming applications this computer is it. Also the speakers are awesome and I might miss them the most.

What Is A Cell? It's a
battery
Though technically a battery has multiple cells, we are accustomed to calling a
single energy cell a battery as well.In
electronics, a battery or voltaic cell is a combination of many electrochemical
Galvanic cells of identical type to store chemical energy and to deliver it in
the form of electricity. The battery cells combine to produce more energy
(voltage or amps) than a cell by itself. When joined in this way, it is a
battery of cells. Almost all portable electronics use one or more cells -
rechargeable or disposable. The more cells, the more energy available -
meaning more hours of use usually.
In Notebook computers, the battery case usually
holds three or more cells. 3 Cell batteries tend to provide about 1-3
hours of use, depending on the energy needs of the Laptop. 6 cell (or
more) batteries provide much more energy, and many more hours of use. This
can be good or bad! More cells mean longer use, but more weight too!
So remember to always check for the number of
cells if specified, and choose the right configuration for your use.

Alessandro Volta! The first known usage of the battery (as we know it
