do not buy
I've had this product for less than a month when it decided to quit working. Contacted Targus and it's been over a week and they have not responded. Would not suggest buying it. Use the $25 for something else

Great product but a bit pricey
We have the laptop chillpads and are very happy with them. The netbook version is every bit as good. We love them. However - the laptop chillpads were $19.99 while the netbook chillpads were more expensive. The extra price is worth it though since the product is great. I'd recommend the chillpads to all netbook users.

Good product
The chill mat works great, is not too loud, and is the right dimensions to fit under my 8.9 inch netbook. The only down side is that its height is more than I expected so it makes the computer sit up quite high.

Targus chill pad
I've owned several of these over the years and none have lasted over three months. The weak link seems to be the power supply cord and the female connector in the pad it's self. Can't be fixed and you can't buy a replacement cord.
