Shy of perfect, still recommended
There are few alternatives if you want to transmit to bluetooth speakers from a source not supporting BT. Set it to xmit, plug into headset jack, be sure the volume is not too high (distorts) and it works. It doesn't seem to reach as far as others and is somewhat more sensitive to RF obstructions (walls and such). On balance, I am pretty happy with it and use it regularly.
