Good NV for price
Excellent value fore about $200. I have used many different NV units and was amazed at how good this gen1 mon. was. I can easily recognize a person out to about 300 yards with a full moon. The IR illuminator is good to about 100 yards. So if there is no other light, like moon, stars or any other ambient light, don't expect to get more than a 100-150 yards out of these. But for the cash, these are plenty for the avg. user.
