Dane-Elec DA-SD-16GB-R Secure Digital Card
Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) is a new class of memory cards designed to enhance the performance of high-quality still and video cameras. This Dane-Elec DA-SD-16GB-R SDHC card from Dane Elec meet all the standards of the SD Card Association 2.0 Specification for SD cards larger than 2 GB. Although identical in size to a standard SD card, SDHC cards are different and are only compatible with devices designed for SDHC. Please check the Owner’s Manual of the intended device to verify that it is SDHC compatible. Also note that SDHC requires an SDHC-compatible card reader and is not backwards compatible with most older card readers. The SDHC standards also use a new speed class rating system. This Dane-Elec DA-SD-16GB-R SDHC Card offer Class 4 ratings, describing their optimal data-write transfer speed of 4 MegaBytes per second.

New brand to me....
I'd never heard of this brand before but I'm glad it didn't keep me from making the purchase. I'm talking value here. This is a great deal! This card functions as well as others costing several times the price.

great price for a great product
This is a great product and the price for the size is a miricle. I order for myself and for my kids all Married, guess I should quit spoiling them. But, since I am blessed with great kids and grandkids and since this is the greatest place to shop and get quality products at great prices, I will continue to buy for me and the kids.

NOT Hi-Speed
Great value for still digital camera photos. Once you start pushing a camera to record 640 dpi or HD Video at 30 Frames per Second + - you really need 10 - 15 MB per sec. minimum write speed. This card is only 4MB per sec. write speed. So far, very reliable & no errors.
