SnapScan
I've used several scanners over my working career. For ease of operation, you can't beat the ScanSnap. Its a workhorse. True, it costs a little more but for a desktop unit that can work for 8 hours a day without any problems, this scanner is worth it. It can scan any size paper, plus non-standard items, such as pictures, handwritten notes, with ease.

Best Color Sheetfed Scanner for the Price
I love this scanner. I replaced both my Epson flatbed and baby fujitsu S300 (which is also great for laptops). Great quality, easy setup with Windows 7 and othes and it works time after time again.

awesome
this is the best complement for your computer!!! i have scanned old pictures and posted them for all to enjoy not just in a photo album. the scanner is quick and the software if very easy to use.
