The Future is Here!!

WOW! I ordered the setup, had the monitor and glasses hooked up and ready within the hour. The 3d demos on Nvidia's website are frickin awesome! The one with the race car and water effects is my favorite, (when they point the hoses at you the water comes flying off the screen)! I am truly amazed considering that this is the cheapest 3d package for Nvidia 3d Vision. I thought that it would not be good enough, but believe me, you will not be disappointed. I play alot of WOW and I will never play the game the same again. I honestly feel like a little kid again, I am that excited about it. True, there isn't much media out there yet but when it comes, it will be awesome. I am looking forward to watching the Masters Tournament streamed live tomorrow from the internet as well. I only wish more would buy this so that there will be more 3d content soon. My friends, welcome to the future.

Bleedthrough omfg

If you are getting this for 3d, then it works fine when the ir transmitter isn't being pissy. The only reason you can get black out of this screen IS TO TURN IT OFF THOUGH. Bleed through is TERRIBLE. Good price for 3d though.

ok i have 2 512 cards running with this setup o man this is so cool i was playing cod 5 when you look down the scope thats so cool on mine i can see every bump in the gun if you have the money buy it even watching a movie in 3d not bad but the movie needs to be made for 3d to look the best

Makes all the difference

The 3d effect is incredible (using 260GTX card), ghosting isn't an issue and I've had no flicker since downloading the latest drivers from the nvidia site, I couldn't go back to 2d gaming now. Monitor is good quality and has built in speakers for those who want to minimise desk clutter, picture in 2d or 3d is almost faultless (maybe a little dark in 3d). Glasses are well made, seem pretty robust but they'll be expensive to replace if you break them, rechargable battery lasts a long time. You'll look like a dork to your family but its worth it. Not seen the iZ3d screen in the flesh so can't offer a comparison. Go for it.

Excellent deal!

I ordered the monitor and glasses on Thursday 9-17, and I received them on Tuesday 9-22. After using this equipment for more than 2 weeks, I can say that the quality of the monitor is excellent. There were no dead pixels upon delivery, and I have not experience any problems since. The 3D effect of the glasses is awesome! There is a downside though. I cant really play a game in 3D for more than 30-45 minutes before I start getting a headache. Luckily, you can easily turn 3D off and on with the keyboard. I would recommend this product, but just dont expect to play games in 3D for an extended period of time.
