Failure
I bought this machine 6 months ago. The motherboard is failing and HP said it is $400 to fix. I currently have my num lock and caps lock buttons blinking 4 times indicating a graphic card failure. Be careful if you want to play games on it. HP does not have very good customer support and did not provide me with any realistic options.

awesome deal!
This laptop is by far the best I've ever owned! Fast and loaded with great extras. The AMD dual core processor is so fast and this does not run hot at all. What a deal. I'm very happy.

Best deal I've seen. (so far)
I'm in Iraq and I got this in 10 days, I couldn't believe it. Hesitant as others about buying a refurbished laptop, but so far so good. I've had it about 3 weeks and I'm throughly satisfied. Like others have said, take the time to remove programs you don't use. Didn't buy it in time for free Windows 7 upgrade. I think the $1200 original price is a little over exaggerated, but for less than $600 and no shipping, it's hard to beat.

Exceptional at the price!!
I bought this laptop in August of 2009 and have been using is flawlessly everyday since. There was a problem at first that I was having trouble connecting to my wi-fi, but as it turns out it was my router not the laptop. The large screen looks superb!! Its great for watching movies on. I upgraded later to a Blu-Ray player and its even better!! Fast reliable, I installed the Windows 7 free upgrade and once you uninstall all the HP Bloatware off of it, its a super fast machine, you won't be sorry for buying this laptop.

Hard Drive died within five hours
I was so happy when I got this, but happiness soon faded. The hard drive suffered ''imminent failure'' within five hours of my opening the box. To their credit, they were very helpful and I opted for an exchange. Now I get to wait for the computer to reach their return center before they'll send out the next one. Stuff happens I guess, good thing I'm a patient girl. It was a great five hours though, it ran liike a charm for awhile! I'll post an update when I get the next computer.
