Disappointing noise reduction
I bought the refurbished deal, which was very good value. The description called these over-the-ear headphones, I believe, so I was a little surprised to receive on-the-ear type, which are very unsatisfactory for any sort of active use, being very prone to fall off. Even less pleasing was the noise reduction. I had a pair of Logitech over-the-ear noise cancelers that did a good job of canceling the sound of my lawn tractor. Noise reduction with these new ones is so limited that it is almost inaudible when switching it on. I think a pair of passive over-the-ear phones, like my $15 Koss, actually do better in this application.

Not what I thought .
I thought that noise canceling was diferrent than Bass Boost. That is all that I can say. I have bought cheap Headphones with bass boost and they were every bit as good as these.

Very nice noice canceling for the price.
Sound very clear. I like it. recommendable for traveling. Nice and useful bag.
