Nice to still find a machine!
I am well pleased with how machine functions. Took a night or two, then it has worked fine since then. When I hit the right buttons, it does what its suppose to. Great picture from recording TV to tape, or tape to DVD. I am very pleased and have already suggested it to other friends.

Instructions are difficult
So far I have had this for about a month, and just figured out how to make the darn thing do the one thing I wanted it to...VHS-DVD dubbing. It doesn't always do what the instructions seem to say it will, but when I did finally figure it out it works. So I guess my only complaint is that the instructions are much too difficult. If you are sketchy on the mechanics of electronics, this unit might not be for you.

DO NOT BUY THIS! DVR620KU
Worst set-up instructions ever. Can not get it to work. The internet is full of forums addressing the problems of this unit. Calling the Toshiba tech help is a big joke! This was a colossal waste of money.

DOA
The DVD try would not open. Toshiba support lacking human intervention. E-Mail only so far. Discovered to late for returning.

Great for Converting Old VCR Tapes to DVD
Product worked as expected. We simply wanted to convert all of our old VHS tapes to DVD. It does that very well. It has the ability to DVR TV shows from your cable box if you want that capability.
