Save your money
Save your money for something better. I have also owned and blown the previous edition. While it is much louder and more crisp than the first edition, it still is not worth the money. By spending an extra 50 - 100 bucks, you can get something that will last. The grill cannot handle the heat produced when the subs are run at RMS power. Within a week, they had both melted! Two months later, one of the subs blew (Using an underpowered amp)! The current grills are part of the drivers and cannot be replaced. This one does not look as cool as the first edition but it is still pretty good. The only thing that these subs have is they look great right out of the box. They are also easy to install. Use low gauge wires or they won't fit in the connectors, 8 gauge is too large. The lights run off of your REM 12V cable which is convenient, and draw a very small amount of power so your head unit can handle it, no extra relays or switches required.
