We've been using this at our Fire Station for about a year to display computer based training on a 50inch analog rear projection tv.
It works great for most everything.
Small fonts and tiny text just isn't going to be clear, but that isn't the converter's fault, analog TV just doesn't have the resolution. |

I tried this Averkey Imicro on 21 inch Sony Television and an WinXP box and the picture quality was good. The only cons I found was the setting the resolution down to 640 x 480 on the computers videocard to see the white lettering and enlarging the Icons or lettering to see what I am picking. Otherwise, its a good product for surfing the web, watching online movies and playing pc games on a big screen tv. |

I showed up at a meeting and this was all they had for a presentation. No instructions. Just plugged the cord into the computer video out, the RC connector into the TV video in, and the power supply transformer into the wall. Set the the TV to AV input and the computer to output to a second monitor and it worked. Not the resolution of a computer monitor when standing next to the TV (some edge fuzziness) but at a normal TV watching distance it was just fine. I didn't get the time to play with the unit's controls. |
