I got this barebone kit in the mail about a week ago and when i opened it i had the same problem with the plexiglass as everybody else but i didnt care too much cause its not noticeable on the outside. i set up everything and it was running great. Only thing i wish was that there were fans included cause i didnt know and am running it without fans. but it is still pretty cool running around 39 degrees celsius. Would buy again. Great buy well worth the price.

Bought this back in February and haven't been happier with my PC's performance. I have Windows XP64 edition installed on it with no issues. However, as mentioned previously the Ultra case leaves much to be desired in the area of the Plexiglas side...mine was cracked as well around the plastic rivets. Also, before you order this make sure to pick up two 120mm case fans. The blue Thermaltake ones look nifty in here. Also, make sure to put some extra thermal compound between the heatsink and processor or you'll have some weird boot issues when first trying to get your system up and running...the little amount AMD put on their heatsink wasn't nearly enough to begin with...lol. Overall, the graphics card makes World of Warcraft run at about 25-30 fps in major cities, the hard drive is more than sufficient for my needs, the RAM runs like a scalded dog and the processor is a sleeping monster. Assembly and installation of all parts can be done in about 2 hours by a novice. Excellent bargain!

Just as an FYI for those of you who may be wanting to use this for Vista x64 installations... I bought a barebone nearly identical to this that included an Athlon 64 X2 6000+ proc, 4GB of OCZ memory, 250GB drive and a 600w PS - same case. I wanted a little more pop so I got the Phenom 9500 included in this package. I absolutely could not get Vista x64 running on that setup - constant BSODs with a processor timing error. Vista x86 ran OK but of course limited to 3GB memory access. Backslushed to the X2 6000+ proc and Vista x64 runs fine, but dammit I wanted the quad core. Found out that the Phenom 9500 is NOT officially supported on this MB. If you think the Corsair instead of the OCZ mem will make this combo work, then go for it! Otherwise caveat emptor. Kinda wish I'd waited for this combo, then at least I could RMA it for one that actually works with Vista x64. EDIT: At the time I wrote this review, the Phenom 9500 was NOT listed on the official ASUS CPU Compatibility list for thi

Love this kit!!! After figuring out that only memory slots 3&4 need to be installed to get the beast moving....everything ran perfectly. And one other reviewer was correct...you have to select ''ganged'' to get all 8GB of ram recognized. You will need two case fans as they do not come with the case.Assembly was a breeze. The ''4'' on the features has to do with the PSU...I've gotten used to modular ones...got some spaghetti going on but I've got room to stash the extra wires. First purchase ever from Tiger and I'm UBER satisfied!!!!That explains why I've placed 3 more orders!!!

Ordered this system for $499. It arrived within a week. Added an Asus EN9500 graphics card Put it all together and the pc wouldnt post. Was my mistake I failed to connect the 4 pin power cord. Once I attached it the pc booted up beautifully. Installed XP Pro and is running perfectly Have the same issue with the plastic window,, though you don't notice the chip when the panel is attached. And Windows is only seeing 3.5 gigs of the 8 installed. Am am very pleased with the system and the price
