Works as advertised
I'm using this to mount an outdoor TV antenna to a joist in my attic. Very sturdy and offers versatile mounting options. Does the job I need.

Very strong. Used to hold a weather station
I used this J Pipe to support a weather station. It's overkill for that purpose, but I couldn't find a cheaper alternative at this price. The choice of different mounting configurations is very helpful. Only negative: in adjusting the pipe angle, you may scratch the metal surface of the mounting bracket, but that is true of any mount of this type. The pipe mount is just as described. Recommended.

great deal on j pipe!
This J pipe is much higher quality than the usual pipe supplied with an FTA satellite dish which is easily crushed when clamping dish. This reasonably priced J pipe appears to be of heavier gauge and is a bit longer. This time around though I filled the j pipe with concrete. I used a milk jug cap wrapped in electrical tape to put a stop just ahead of the holes. Works great for a motorized system.
