Great little switch
I bought four of these. I use them to set up small networks at different sites for volunteer income tax preparers that provide free income tax preparation with the IRS's VITA program. They need trouble free network operation and that is what they get. I need quick and simple setup and that is what I get.

Excellent switch, best value
I bought 4 of these switches to build a 1gb backbone in my house for all the 1gb devices we now have, retired the 100mb switches. All GB now. Its beneficial to keep all the same make model switches when building a backbone to avoid any compatibility issues and these switches come with some nice internal features. They are working great, everything now transferring at 500mbps instead of 74mbs, yeah you don't get the full GB speed on any switch but 500mb is nothing to sneeze at. Highly recommend these switches.

Excellent Product
I have two of these and one of the 8 port. The Auto-MDIX saves the trouble of identifying cross-over or straight-thru cables. With this switch you just plug it in and everything works and shows you if you are getting 1000 or 100 Mbps. Excellent product and great price.
