Great for the price
Overclocked to 3ghz right off the bat, runs GREAT even with the stock cooler, runs bfbc2 very smooth, if your looking to build a budget quad core build, this is the cpu for you.

Great performance boost on a budget
I do a lot of video recording and editing of my two boys rock bands. Previously I used a duel core at 2.66ghz and 4 gigs of 800mhz memory. To render a 300-400+ megabyte video clip could sometimes take 45 minutes with a moderate amount of editing. I upgraded to the 2.50ghz quad and bumped up the memory to 8 gigs at 1066mhz and the rendering time is now down to 25 minutes minutes with the same editing. And play time is a lot more fun as well. Microsoft flight sim needs a lot of processing power and this quad core fits the bill perfectly!

Very Satisfied
I was worried that putting together a semi-budget computer was going to leave my performance wanting, but this processor works great, thrown most of my favorite games at it so far and does great under load. As a plus it doesn't get hot (even in 90 degree florida weather) and it the fan noise is quieter my breathing.

Great Processor
i have used this processor in 5 or 6 builds for family members over the last year & haven't had a problem with any of them this is a great processor for the price.

Cheap Quad core
When the chip arrived it was DOA. I was very surprised, I have built many computers and this is the first bad intel chip I have every run across. It happens I guess once in a blue moon. I will always buy Intel. If you are considering this chip, dont hesitate, GET IT. Great bang for the buck.
