On my computer the headphones won't work on my sound card when it's plugged into the front but other than that they do kind of hurt your ears when wearing them for a long time.

Don't be fooled by the price. It may seem nice but they are extremely uncomfortable. They are not 'around the ear headphones', they are 'on ear headphones'. My ears hurt a lot from using them and they don't have the great sound. spend a little more and you can great other great headphones. And the rotary volume control is useless, because you have to adjust them to be same for both ears.

Bought these for the kids computer. Kids seem to like them. The volume control seems to act more like a balance control. I find it more effective to change the volume directly on the PC instead of messing around with the rotary dial. For the money, these are an excellent buy.

These are the only headphones we use at our school...on all of the computers. We have machines in every room besides the lab. Even the ones that are now almost 3 years old still work great. For the price, we didn't think they'd last that long in a school, but they're holding up beautifully. Well worth it!

Great headphones for the price. Basically A inexpensive version of a classic design of studio headphones. I'm used to using Sont, AKG, and Seenheiser in the studio. Perfect for someone who has a home computer studio , but has a budget, and needs an first or extra pair of headphones. Good for CD listening too, great bass response. Would pick it over anything else for under 20 bucks.

The first time I tried these the sound was terrible. Then I checked the settings for sound card and found that I had turned up the base. When I set it back to default the headphone sound improved very much. I guess these can't handle heavy on the base.
The fit is a little tight too, but I have a big head, I am 6ft and 250lbs.
I am not sure why there are switches for ''Stereo'' and ''Mono'', but I like not having a volume control hanging in my lap. The cord is long enough that you do not have to lean into your computer to use the headphones.
I am pleasantly surprised about how well these work, for the price I think I like them.
