First Basic System
This is a great Starter system as you can add in the future for your security needs. It was very easy to install and came with everything needed to secure a small area. Keep in mind that it is only a FOUR camera system and views are limited to those areas only. One noticeable defect in the system is the color is way off in the daylight but more than makes up for it a night because the system works great in low to no light areas. Just wish I would have purchased a eight camera system instead.

Good and inexpensive product
I would agree with the previous review, it has a clear image, it's easy to install and operate. The parking lot is well lit so I get a clear enough image at night as well, but I can see how in areas with low light that might not be the case. Installed this on a 30,000 square foot building to review the parking lot area, the cables were not quite as long as I would've liked, but with a little creativity all areas were covered. IMO the cables should be 100' in length, end to end that would cover most buildings. The instructions should have a note stating that the mouse will not work until you've 'turned on' the DVR with the remote control. Since I didn't intend on using the remote control at all, I wasted a tremendous amount of time in attempting to 'fix' a non-existent issue due to this omission on the instructions.

Good product for the price
Pros: clear picture during the day,easy to install, easy to operate Cons: not real clear at night, but it's ok, my house is 75' long so the cords weren't long enough to put a camera on each corner, when reviewing it takes a little time to FF through several days of film Overall, I would recommend for the price.
