Works Well
Used it on a motherboard without raid to create a data raid. Works very good, easy setup tested rebuild works good. I suggest you go to jmicro and get a new driver and software package they have a decent rm tool but it is not included from Startech. Speed is on a par with other cards of this type but for me redundency is the most important thing.

Makes a great replacment Raid
My motherboard Nvidia Raid went flaky on me. All I had was 2 mirrored drives so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. This inexpensive card was worth a shot. Setup was easy, the software had an option for mirroring existing drives, so the rebuild was easy. No bells and whistles but it does the job. So far so good.
